foam rollingDo you suffer from tight muscles? Do you have tension in your back, shoulders and neck?Can’t touch your toes? Are you just not as flexible as you once were?

Patti Fouske, Personal Trainer and owner of Nerdy Girl Fitness in downtown Dover, NH is offering this special 90-minjute Foam Rolling & Stretching Workshop.

In this workshop, you will learn how using a foam roller at home which can help with warming up before a workout, cooling down after a workout, or rehabilitating sore or injured muscles. This self-myofascial release technique improves circulation, massages muscles, and breaks down knots or trigger points that limit range of motion to prepare muscles for stretching.

You will also learn stretches for tight feet, calves, It band, back, shoulders and more.

If you have your own foam roller, feel free to bring one. We will have a few to borrow and some for sale as well.

Please wear yoga pants or leggings and a comfortable top.
